At Covenant Therapy Group, we have a philosophy about success:

Commitment + Calculated Risks = High Returns on Your Investment

There is value in investment.

Investing in therapy with a Covenant therapist saves you time. You can do trial and error or do-it-yourself-remedies to fix your personal or relationship problems for 2 years. It may save you money but it wastes precious years of your life. There are ways to earn more money, but you can’t turn back the hands of time. Successful people understand this and want to save time. They love making financial investments that help them remove obstacles and achieve their goals faster. They also understand that products and services that cost little to nothing often give them fewer results. Expecting big returns without any investment is what overnight success chasers want. That’s typically not how life, love, or therapy works.

Our clients feel valued.

Feeling valued is a key to success and we take your investment very seriously. By asking you to invest financially, physically, and emotionally in the life-changing therapeutic process we offer, you show up with a winning mindset. You take notes, you come on time, and you pay attention. We also feel valued for our time and expertise, which motivates us to provide you with the best solutions and tools. Everyone feels respected, accountable, and personally invested.

There is power in truth.

Have you ever been in the middle of a confusing conversation or heated argument and thought, “I wish someone else was here right now to hear this and help me make sense of what’s happening”? Most of your toughest moments with people happen behind closed doors. This can leave you struggling to make sense of the hardest parts of your relationships alone. Books and articles on healthy communication, workplace stress, parenting, or relationship repair offer generalized advice that can only get you so far. 1-1 counseling and coaching directly addresses your specific problems and questions. In your sessions with a Covenant therapist you get to recount those problematic interactions in a productive and safe way. Then we give you some honest feedback. Why is the truth so valuable? “The truth shall set you free.” Good therapists don’t act like courtroom judges or jurors who decide on what is right or wrong. They honor your goals by highlighting ways that your thoughts, feelings, and actions may help or prevent you or your partner from creating the life you want. Next, we provide you with new, evidence-based approaches to handle your toughest challenges. Successful people value honest feedback, face and tackle their blindspots, and grow once they have a system in place for navigating challenges.

There is growth in taking calculated risks.

Successful people understand that they will have to make some decisions, take action, and try something new to get what they want. Your Covenant therapist is going to suggest some calculated risks to get you to your goals. Our job is to help you stretch and grow in a safe, supportive environment. We use our clinical expertise and experience to build trust and coach you through new experiences. We check in and get feedback along the way, ensuring that you feel safe to keep moving closer to where you want to be in life and love. We may ask you to do an exercise or activity outside of session. This increases the value of our services and helps you create healthy habits that will last long after therapy ends.
