Meet Anne-Marie James-Henry, LGMFT

Anne-Marie James-Henry is an associate therapist with over 20 years of experience in providing behavioral and life skills coaching, crisis counseling, and pastoral counseling for adults and teens. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University and is a Licensed Graduate Marriage and Family Therapist. She specializes in helping individuals and couples successfully navigate life transition issues such as job loss, separation, divorce, and migration, and is passionate about helping clients improve their sexual health and intimacy in relationships.
Anne-Marie is warm, wise, and has a calming effect on people. She uses a wide range of clinical techniques to help you reach your goals. She is talented in her use of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Bowen Family Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) models, as well as behavioral and life skills training methods. She understands that both young and mature adults need to receive concrete relationship and coping skills in a safe and supportive environment. As your therapist, she will provide you with a range of skills that will help you successfully transition out of your current individual and relationship challenges and into a healthier space.
